It is easy to see why Chattanooga is officially nicknamed the “Scenic City”. Located in southeast Tennessee, near the Georgian border, Chattanooga is set on the Tennessee River, between the ridge and valley portion of the Appalachian Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau.

Chattanooga offers you can experience world-class attractions and still be within ten minutes of breath-taking views from high atop the mountains. Enjoy one of our many popular festivals, including our 9 day Riverbend Festival, or just relax lakeside by either the Chickamauga and Nickajack Lakes.
